Tile can cover more than just flooring in your home. Our tile selection includes options that can be installed on your walls, in your shower, and even outside as a patio or walkway. We have your local tile experts, and our sales professionals are excited to help you get started with your next project.

Types of Tiles

There are three main types of tile: ceramic, porcelain, and stone. When it comes to residential tile, porcelain and ceramic are the most popular choices. All porcelain tiles are ceramic, but not all ceramic tiles are porcelain. Porcelain is heated at a higher temperature and therefore is denser and resistant to heat and moisture. Both ceramic and porcelain are available in traditional tile looks and a wide array of vibrant or neutral colors, and even follow trends like wood look.

For our more high-end customers, we offer natural stone tile. Each stone tile features its own variation. Stone is usually treated and sealed to protect against spills, stains, and scratches, so it will last a long time if properly maintained.

Hardwood styles are currently high atop the list of current décor trends, and with wood-look tile, it’s easy to find flooring that you not only love but can easily live with. Offering up tile’s amazing durability, convenience, and easy of care with hardwood’s highly coveted grains and visuals, wood-look tile certainly has it all.

Wood-look tile allows us to enjoy all the latest and greatest hard-surface styles, regardless of our budget or space limitations. Since it’s made from porcelain, ceramic, or the occasional vinyl, wood-look tile won’t ever warp or bend due to moisture or humidity. It can stand up to even the most frequent foot traffic or furniture moves, and unlike the real thing, it won’t readily dent or scratch. You won’t ever have to polish, sand, or refinish this “hardwood,” and it’s extremely easy to keep it clean.

Tile Installation

Tile is one of the most versatile products we carry in our showroom. Not only can you install tile on your floors in your home, but you can also install tile on your walls, in showers, and even outside as a patio. Tile is made to be resistant to heat and moisture, making it a great option for places in your home like kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and even laundry rooms and mudrooms. Floor tiles are incredibly durable and are textured for slip resistance. Wall tile and backsplash tile is lighter and smaller and is not suitable for flooring.

Ceramic and porcelain are especially popular in kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms, but they also can be installed in living rooms and basements. Porcelain and stone tile can be installed outside as well as a patio or walkway. As we mention, we offer more than just tile flooring option. We offer tile that can be installed on walls, and even tile that can be installed as a custom shower stall or tile backsplash.
